Our Journey
Philly Sandwich Bar isn’t just a restaurant—it’s the story of passion, purpose, and the pursuit of flavor.
It all began during my time living in the United States. Surrounded by a culture that celebrated bold taste and quality craftsmanship, I found myself drawn into the world of high-value food. That’s where I first discovered that true quality doesn’t lie in fancy words or flashy packaging—it lies in the details. The right cut. The right technique. The right source.
The craziest part?
One day, I came home dragging a full-scale industrial meat-cutting machine into my kitchen. That wild decision wasn’t just an impulse—it opened a whole new chapter. I began studying everything: meat fibers, marbling, ribeye variations, cattle feed, regional sourcing… and how all those elements affect taste and texture. I wasn’t just cooking—I was learning the language of meat.
By 2018, I started drafting the first pages of what would become our business plan. It wasn’t just about selling sandwiches. It was about building something authentic—a place where people could bite into a sandwich and instantly taste the intention behind it.
We rented our first shop right before the pandemic hit. The timing was brutal—we couldn’t launch. For nearly two years, we held onto the dream, tweaking, learning, preparing. In 2021, we finally opened our doors.
That first sandwich wasn’t just food.
It was a symbol.
Of resilience, of vision, of every step we had taken.
